About Us
I’m a third-generation dairy farmer, born and bred on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, and today I’m raising my own family on the very same property my family has worked for generations.
Agriculture has always been a way of life for us. Like many farming families, our days revolve around livestock, machinery, long hours outdoors, and getting the job done no matter the conditions. Over the years, I’ve watched farming evolve, particularly around safety and compliance. More farms, contractors, and rural businesses are adopting modern workplace safety practices, including high-visibility clothing.
But there was always something that didn’t sit right with me.
Most of the hi-vis workwear available to farmers was originally designed for construction, mining, or industrial workplaces, then simply rebranded for agriculture. It wasn’t designed for the realities of working around livestock or spending long days in Australian farming conditions. The fabrics were often heavy and hot, the cuts restrictive, and the bright industrial styling felt completely out of place on the farm.
After decades working around cattle and livestock, I could also see firsthand how harsh fluorescent colours, reflective tape, and overly industrial-looking clothing could create unnecessary reactivity in animals, particularly in close working environments like dairies, yards, and sheds.
I realised farmers were constantly being forced to compromise:
wear industrial workwear that didn’t suit agriculture, or sacrifice visibility and compliance altogether.
That was the beginning of Agri-Vis.
I wanted to create workwear specifically for agriculture. Clothing that was practical, durable, breathable, and compliant, but still felt like it belonged on the farm. Workwear built around the realities of livestock handling, machinery operation, fencing, outdoor work, and everyday rural life.
The idea behind Agri-Vis was simple: combine high-visibility safety with agricultural-inspired design and practical farming functionality.
That’s why our garments use earthy lower patterns and agricultural artwork that soften the industrial appearance of traditional hi-vis while still maintaining strong daytime visibility. Every design is influenced by real farming environments and the landscapes, livestock, and industries that make up rural Australia.
Agri-Vis isn’t trying to be another generic workwear brand. It was created from lived farming experience and designed for people who work the land every day.
For me, this brand is about creating workwear that reflects modern agriculture properly: safe, practical, rugged, comfortable, and genuinely built for rural Australians.
